Very simply, I founded SweetTeat to educate, enlighten and empower women to breastfeed. So whether this is your first child or your fifth, there is a special place for you in my practice. Whether you are exclusively breastfeeding an infant or you are supplementing one with formula, there is still much to gain from my practice. Whether no one in your entire family has ever breastfed, or your husband and mother-in-law are nudging you to give it a try, your potential to succeed with breastfeeding is limitless and I would be honored to help you on your journey! I come to you; specializing in assessing for Ankyloglossia (tongue-tie), nipple shield weaning, latch and suck difficulties, nipple pain and engorgement relief, milk supply deficiencies, and much more! Lactation super-bill is provided, so you can submit for applicable health insurance reimbursement.
History
Established in 2014.
I recognized the dire need for more International Board Certified Lactation Consultants in my community. I decided to pursue the pathway towards obtaining my IBCLC to normalize breastfeeding, educate mothers and their families, and hopefully help them achieve their goals. Most importantly, I want to tip the scales in favor of every mother who wants to breastfeed, giving them a fighting chance at success.
